Our Spanish III class made cookies in honor of Día de Los Muertos! With the guidance of Spanish teacher Mrs. Kimberly Perez, they learned about the traditions behind this holiday. Studying how this celebration incorporates both Catholic and Indigenous traditions supports our students’ growth in cultural awareness.
Through the study of a modern language such as Spanish, our students are able to enter into dialogue with the growing number of foreign language speakers not just around the globe, but also in our own country, cities, and neighborhoods. Learn more about our Liberal Arts curriculum at Saint Agnes.
